About the initiative
Peer Review Week is a global celebration of the essential role that peer review plays in maintaining the quality and integrity of scientific research. To contribute to this initiative, Scientist Unit in collaboration with scientific Journal Unit Organize a Peer Review Mini-Camp titled “Peer Review Power Hour “—a focused, hands-on scientific program designed to empower early-career researchers, graduate students, and seasoned scientists alike with the knowledge, skills, and best practices needed to conduct constructive, ethical, and high-quality peer reviews.

General Objective
To equip all researchers and academics from all over Saudi Arabia at all levels with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in peer review.
Specific Objectives
1. Provide a comprehensive overview of the peer review process and its evolution.
2. Teach best practices in evaluating manuscripts, providing constructive feedback, and handling ethical considerations.
3. Emphasize confidentiality, conflict of interest awareness, transparent Reviewing and objectivity.
4. Foster collaboration, discussion, and shared learning among participants from diverse academic backgrounds.
Target Audience
· Ph.D candidates, Postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists
· Experienced reviewers seeking to refresh their skills.
Dates and Duration
It is held for one week, coinciding with the week of scientific publishing
One week 14 SEP 2025 (Sunday–Thursday)
Timing: 12:00 pm – 01:30 pm
