About FANAR

FANAR is a first research summer school from KSU designed to empower future scientists and researchers in health and scientific disciplines. This initiative provides a collaborative environment to enhance research skills and expand scientific knowledge through hands-on activities.

General Objective

To foster a new generation of skilled researchers capable of conducting impactful research in their respective fields.


Specific Objectives

  • Formulate clear research questions.

  • Develop comprehensive research proposals with appropriate study designs.

  • Acquire skills in data collection and analysis using statistical software.

  • Learn to write structured research manuscripts adhering to evidence-based principles.

  • Master referencing techniques using reference management software.

 

Target Audience

  • Final-year students in health and scientific disciplines.

  • Recent graduates who are interested in advancing their research skills.

  • Researchers in the life sciences seeking to enhance their skills

Dates and Duration

The program is conducted for one Week, 27 July.
Timing: 9:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Format

  • CRL  Venue

  • Session Duration: 7 hours each day

  • Daily morning lectures on the fundamentals of scientific research.

  • Applied workshops from idea generation to writing a feasible research proposal
